These past few months I have been SO busy with moving and trying to get our house together. I made some progress on the entryway of our home, bought new appliances to replace the broken ones in our home, and unpacked countless boxes. Needless to say, my fashion choices these past few months have been more rooted in comfort and function than style. However I do have a few plus size fashion favorites that are comfortable, chic, and look beautiful on a plus size body.

This tee from Zella is soo comfortable and looks really chic for an athletic-wear piece. It is oversized, so it can be knotted at the bottom. The sleeves are a tiny bit longer than standard t-shirts, so it smooths out the look of the upper arm area and it feels incredibly cozy. I bought this during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but it is still worth it at the price.

This little black dress is a classic fashion staple that I think deserves a place in anyone’s closet. The versatility of a casual black mini dress makes it an amazing staple piece. It can be worn around the house for comfort or dressed up with accessories for outings. I’ve been throwing this on to run quick errands without having to think about putting an outfit together. It is super simple, but looks more chic than athletic-wear for errand running!

These Jeans are so chic and comfortable, a definite must have! The material is ultra-stretchy and the ripped hem is very on-trend and interesting. The wash of these black jeans are unique and beautiful. These are a new staple for me and perfect for fall and winter.

This ruffle-sleeve top is fabulous. It is so darling and comfortable, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it (does it count if it has all been family members? LOL). I think this is the perfect style for a plus size body, because the ruffles on the sleeve direct attention there as such a cute detail, and the material itself is so comfortable and chic. It can be paired with leggings, jeans, or shorts, so basically anything!
This micro backpack has been so fun to wear on my hot girl walks with my puppy Sunny. It can be worn as a backpack or as a cross body bag, since the straps are moveable. It has multiple compartments, and is big enough to hold a standard 16oz water bottle, as well as keys, sunglasses, a small wallet, and ton of different accessories. Although I bought this in summer, this piece would work amazing all year around and with many athleisure and casual outfits. The straps can be made longer to fit at least a size 28, worn as crossbody.

This v-neck tank top is ultra-comfortable due to the jersey cotton fabric and is so versatile for your wardrobe. I size up to a 4x, in order to knot the bottom of the tank for a chic athleisure look with leggings and tennis shoes. The v-neck neckline is so flattering for my body shape and the straps of the tank top are thick enough to hide bra straps. It comes in many neutral colors, but I thought the gray was a nice change of pace for my wardrobe, as I own a lot of white and black already. This is so affordable, so I would definitely recommend picking up a few colors to have on hand.

This high-waisted thong from skims is probably the best thong I have found for plus sizes. I love the high-waist, because it keeps the thong from rolling down my stomach. It is cotton lined at the bottom and it comes in so many neutral and fun colors as well. They have a year-round deal on these thongs – 3 pairs for $36. I have used them for over a year now and none of my pairs have ripped or been broken down in my washer or dryer (and I dry them on delicate).

These leggings are little hidden gem at Target! They are a faux-leather look legging, that are way better than Spanx. If you are plus size, you need to try these! They are soo comfortable, are generously sized (so size down), and work amazingly with a variety of tops and outfits. These are so affordable and definitely deserve a spot in my top 10!

These leggings are my absolute favorite and I HAD to recommend them. I know Lululemon is pricey, but these are SO worth the investment. They go up to size 20, which is the size I wear, and I choose the 25 inch inseam. They have sporty double seams, with a seam going over the back side that enhance the goods. There are side pockets that are so handy and the fabric is so soft and durable. I wear these when working out, running errands with a sporty outfit, or just getting work done around the house.
This active jacket is perfect for the fall and winter when it starts to get chilly. It’s a moisture-wicking material that is light and breathable. I love the chic look of the waterfall collar that drapes down. I love using this in the morning on my hot girl walks when it’s chilly. I would pair this with a white tank and the leggings I talked about above for a super cute athletic look that is so functional.
All of these pieces are things I have been wearing on repeat for the past few months. I love sharing comfortable pieces that also look chic when put together into a full outfit.
