What’s In My Sephora Cart

October 22, 2022

Hi besties! The Sephora Sale is rapidly approaching, and this is a sale that I cover every year. Check out this post for more tips and tricks on how to navigate the sale and my reccomendations. I wanted to share with you what is actually in my cart right now waiting for me to buy!

Makeup

1) This LYS highlighter looks pretty and is affordable, so I wanted to try it out.

2) This ambient lighting powder from Hourglass looks so gorgeous and unique. From what I can tell, it’s a dimensional setting powder and I HAVE to try it.

3) I wanted to try another Gucci blush because I love the formula of the first one I tried. The first one I picked up is called Tender Apricot, so I want to try one of the more pink tones.

MAKEUP WISH LIST

Skincare

1) This is a new product I am SO interested in. It’s an instant glow serum from Merit Beauty that looks so interesting and sounds like the perfect skin prep serum before applying makeup.

2) This Evian mist is a perfect multi-purpose spray for the makeup process. It can be applied to eyeshadow to give a more foiled look, can prep skin before or after makeup to reduce a powdery finish, and can be used on your beauty blender if you forget to wet it. I love products that serve multiple purposes in my routine.

SKINCARE WISH LIST

Haircare

1) This shampoo from Necessaire is new to their line and intrigued me. It claims to be balancing and hydrating, which my scalp would thoroughly enjoy if the claims are true.

2) This conditioner from Necessaire is another new product to their line and also claims to be hydrating. My hair thrives when I switch out my haircare products frequently (unlike my skincare), so I am excited to give this a try and see how it compares to my current favorite conditioner.

3) Lastly, and also from Necessaire’s new line, I want to try this scalp serum. So far my experience with scalp serums is that at best, they hydrate my scalp, and at worse they break my scalp out and do nothing to help. It’s a gamble to try this, but I have been so impressed by Necessaire so far that it is worth a try.

HAIRCARE WISH LIST

Fragrance

1) I have heard such good things about Ouai’s Melrose Place perfume. I’ve heard some people use this as their everyday perfume, because it’s more affordable and has a beautiful soft rose scent.

2) I also want to try out this perfume from Chanel. I was shopping at Nordstrom when I was still in Jacksonville and I tried the EDT version of this perfume and fell in love. It’s so feminine, sweet, but has that Chanel DNA to the scent. It was gorgeous so I’m thinking about picking this one up too.

3) This cologne sampler would be an AMAZING gift for any men in your life. I normally just pick out scents for my boyfriend, but I like that he gets to chose one he prefers from this set. The price is so good, especially with the sale. So this would make a great gift or luxury stocking stuffer. It also comes with a toiletry bag, which is great for traveling and comes in a classic black shade.

FRAGRANCE WISH LIST

Accessories

1) If you have followed my content for a while, this will not be a surprise to you. These hair scrunchies are AMAZING. I can not recommend them enough if your hair breaks easily, is frizzy, if you have a sensitive scalp, or if your hair is fine or thin. This particular set has two different sizes in gorgeous shades, so you already know I need to pick this up.
